Punidha Priya Panneer Selvam is a poet from Nuwara Eliya where she grew up surrounded by artists, including artists from among her family.  

While she wrote poems for Walari Paper in Malaysia, her journey began when she tried to put her thoughts into words during her school days.  Since then, poetry became a medium to express herself as well as the thoughts of others whom she associates with. The thoughts of Punidha Priya reflect her feelings at a particular time in life.
